Frequently Asked Questions
What is required for check-in?
You must have a passport to check-in. No other identification card will be accepted, applicable to United States Citizens as well. We require passports in order to ensure all guests are accounted for in any possible situation. Passport numbers offer the only comprehensive method to confirm and secure the identities of all of our guests. This is standard world-wide Hostel policy and as such we cannot allow any exceptions.
***Please no calls regarding this policy***
When is check-in/check-out?
Guests are required to check-out by 12:00 (noon). Check-in time is 15:00. After the rooms have been cleaned and prepared for new guests, you can move into the room. If you arrive before this, you can leave your luggage in our storage lockers and come back when your room is ready.
What are the prices and sizes of lockers?
After you check-out or if you arrive before your room is ready, you can leave your luggage using our rental lockers. The prices for the lockers are $3-$5 (depending on size) for 24 hours. However, MULTIPLE ENTRIES ARE NOT ALLOWED. Once you open a locker you will need to pay again if you want to use it one more time.
Where can I keep my belongings?
Typically luggage carrying non-valuable items such as clothes and toiletries are usually left in the dormitory either under the bed or tucked out of the way. There are lockers in all of the dormitory rooms for personal items. You will need to bring your own pad lock to use these lockers (medium-size, 7mm thick). Valuables may be stored in these areas. The Hostel is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Can I change or cancel my reservation?
